Iker Casillas, cel mai bun portar al anului 2011

Spaniolul Iker Casillas, de la echipa de fotbal Real Madrid, a fost desemnat cel mai bun portar al anului 2011, conform unei anchete a Federaţiei Internaţionale de Istorie şi Statistică a Fotbalului (IFFHS).

Iker Casillas, ales cel mai bun portar pentru a patra oară consecutiv, a acumulat 248 de puncte, fiind urmat de germanul Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munchen), 130 de puncte, ÅŸi de Victor Valdes (FC Barcelona), 114 puncte. Portarul echipei Juventus Torino, Gianluigi Buffon, a ocupat locul patru în această ierarhie, cu 63 de puncte, el fiind urmat de cehul Petr Cech, de la Chelsea, cu 41 de puncte.

În continuarea acestui top figurează portarii Fernando Muslera (Galatasaray), Joe Hart (Manchester City), Julio Cesar (Inter Milano), Justo Wilmar Villar (Estudiantes de La Plata) ÅŸi Edwin van der Sar (Manchester United).
