În cele din urmă, finala puternicului turneu de hochei pe gheaţă, Centrope Cup, s-a disputat, la St. Polten, în Austria. După patru victorii consecutive, hocheiÅŸtii noÅŸtri, echipa naÅ£ională U18, a ocupat locul secund, după finala pierdută în faÅŸa slovenilor de la Olimpia Ljubliana, cu scorul de 5-1.
